Back up with a new set of games. WVu/G'Town. Joe Alexander just shook DeJuan Summers to the floor and dropped a seventeen footer. I have to admit, I'd never heard of Alexander until this week.
I wonder what John Belien is thinking today. He left The Mountaineers to take over the mess that is Michigan hoops this year. Today his team put up 34 points to top off a 22 loss campaign. His old team is playing in the Big East semis and looking pretty good doing it. I guess it is hard to say no when a better school comes calling. How much better is the Michigan job really? Belien is one of the best game coaches around, and I love watching his teams play offense. He is not a heralded recruiter. To turn Michigan around, he is going to have to get some studs. Running backdoor cuts and shooting pick and pop threes with mediocre players isn't going to get it done at Michigan.
Duke is playing Georgia Tech on the Deuce. This would be awesome if only it was still 1990. As it is, I'll stick with the Big East game.
The early SEC offering is Mississipi State v. Alabama. That will probably be the C game if the Big East is on commercial and I get sick of looking at Ratface. Everyone knows who that is, right?
