ESPN just reported that the SEC has asked Georgia Tech to use its facilities to play the rest of the Tournament.
My confidence in how this will shake out goes hand in hand with my confidence in UK's athletic director. This is to say that I expect to wake tomorrow and learn that we insisted the tournament be completed in Rupp Arena and then forfeited our game when everyone else didn't agree to this arrangement.
I'm only half kidding.
They made a huge mistake not getting this game in tonight. UK brass will strong arm the hell out of the SEC. Mitch and Billy won't agree to play twice in one day, which makes the situation unrectifiable. It will be kind of interesting to see what they do.
