Conference Tourney Running Diary Preview

Tomorrow, for one day only, I'll be resurrecting my conference tournament diary from 2008. This year will be the non-frozen peas edition. For those who followed the diary last year, you know the circumstances surrounding it were a little different. Last year, from Thursday at noon through Saturday mid-afternoon this same week, I basically did nothing but watch conference tournament basketball and blog about the experience. Well, I also took a well deserved Loritab or two, and held those peas.

In any event, this year did not provide a similar three day pass to watch games and make smartass remarks on the Internet. In fact, I was taking a particularly painful Plaintiff's deposition during today's UK game and saw nothing. (I conned the other lawyer's receptionist into giving me updates).

Tomorrow is a horse of a different color. I have to leave the office at 11:30 for an hour anyway. After that, UK plays LSU at 1. Blog or no blog, I'm watching that game. So, taking the afternoon off to run the diary is really only costing me a couple of billable hours. I'll make those up on Saturday for the sake of college hoops and the blog. I am a giver like that.

Since one of my partners once said that he read this blog one time (though he may have lied), I've technically committed myself to working on Saturday, so this year's running diary will be probably be a one day deal.

Assuming UCLA wins tonight, they'll be playing at 11:30 est tomorrow night, meaning that I could potentially run the diary for 12 and a half hours, with my two teams bookending the action. During the day, I will flip between games and offer my commentary on everything from Terrance Williams to Sonic commercials. Your comments are the lifeblood of the running diary. They one, let me know people are reading and two, get me pointed in the right direction. So, if you check it out during the day, please add your commentary.

And, as always, click banner ads.

Tomorrow I'll start with UK at 1 est, and reset the action after that.

So we won't get the running totals of Bud Select v. Percocet?
