Halftime

UK is down 28-23, despite LSU having hit only two FGs the last eight minutes of the half. We totally mismanaged the last minute. With 37 seconds left, Meeks fumbled the ball near out of bounds for an apparent turnover. However, LSU tried to pick it up and the ball actually went out of bounds on them. Great, right? Well, Raycom realized that the shot clock didn't reset, but apparently no one on UK's team or coaching staff did. Turnover. Then LSU scored with about 8 seconds left. UK waited 5 seconds to inbound the ball, with the clock running, and got only a desparation heave.
Virginia Tech had the ball w/ 15 seconds left, down 1 to UNC, then turned it over because none of its players wanted to shoot. Psycho T his a couple of free throws, now VTech can shoot a 3 to tie it. Only 3.5 seconds remain.

Having been in a teleconference for the last hour, I appreciate the recap. When I asked Karen how they looked in the first half, all I got was "good enough to be down five."

It is a pretty typical game, really. Except that Meeks hasn't done anything. They look tired, but they are playing hard. They continue to turn the ball over in a number of ways.
